我自橫舟向寂寥

今天氣溫8C，陽火鼎盛。

論文審查，預計兩天，但是一天就審完了。

寫成主要意見如下：

「Good and useful results are obtained, for example, it is observed that …etc.

However, a journal paper would expect more advances in knowledge which either disclose something unknown to previous studies or generalize the scattered knowledge previously obtained. This manuscript is good, but still falls short of the expectation a prestigious journal may have.  If the author(s) can formulate their results to clearly arouse an impression that enough new perspectives are generated in comparison with the past studies, then this manuscript might deserve a second look.」

上網寄走，回顧以前審查的，驚覺，竟然全部reject！

我太嚴格了嗎？還是我的期望與現實有落差？

每一個工作，都是至少一年的投入。尤其，若是博士生的論文，那是三五年的嘔心瀝血。

每一個reject，都或多或少打擊到一個履歷的一部份。

希望，那些被打擊到的，最終都能圓滿向前邁進。
